Minnesota State Academy for the Blind Foundation

Empowering students to reach their full potential

Interactive Equipment

Blind and visually impaired students, along with the other identified students in the 13 disability areas of special education, will use MSABF-funded Interactive Equipment with staff supervision. The equipment will integrate music and art therapy and will help optimize the expertise of the music therapist.

The Interactive Equipment will also help teach students how to make choices. These choices
and the ability to make decisions, if initiated early, will carry over into adult life. Multi-challenged students can safely learn to adjust to changes in their daily schedules and lives when given the opportunity.
